Terms of use

These are plain-language terms for an early-stage product, first built at The AI Conference Hack Day 2026 in San Francisco. Pilots and paid plans will be covered by a written agreement that takes precedence over this page.

Last updated September 29, 2026

The product today

ejob.ai is provided as is, for evaluation and pilots. Features may change or be removed, and we do not guarantee that the service will be available without interruption. We will be clear about what runs today and what does not.

Using ejob.ai to hire

If you use ejob.ai to recruit, you are responsible for your hiring process. In particular, you agree to:

  • Comply with the employment, anti-discrimination, privacy and call-recording laws that apply to you and to your candidates.
  • Contact only people who applied or agreed to be contacted about a job.
  • Use job-related criteria, and never base a decision on a protected characteristic.
  • Review the agents' recommendations and make hiring decisions with people, not software.
  • Give candidates any additional notices your jurisdiction requires.

AI output

Rubrics, interview questions, transcripts, scores and summaries are produced with AI and speech recognition, and they can be wrong. Evidence quotes are checked against the transcript, but the transcript itself can contain recognition errors. Treat every output as input to a human decision.

Acceptable use

  • No unlawful, deceptive or harassing use, and no impersonation of another person or company.
  • No attempts to break, overload or get around the security of the service.
  • No use of the interviewer for anything other than job interviews you are entitled to run.

Your content and data

You keep ownership of your job descriptions, rubrics and candidate data. You allow us to process them only to provide the service to you, as described in our privacy notice.

Source code

The source code of ejob.ai is published at github.com/hulamo/ejobai.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, ejob.ai is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for hiring decisions made using the service.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the product matures; the date at the top of this page changes when we do. Questions? Use the contact form.
