Privacy notice
ejob.ai is an early-stage product, first built at The AI Conference Hack Day 2026 in San Francisco. This notice explains in plain language what data the product processes today, why, and how to reach us. It will change as the product matures; when it does, this page and its date change with it.

Who we are and what we do
ejob.ai provides AI agents that help employers hire for frontline roles: they design an interview rubric from a job description, interview candidates by phone or in the browser, evaluate the interview against the employer's job-related criteria and schedule in-person interviews. Employers decide which candidates to contact and make every hiring decision; we process candidate data on their behalf to run the interview.
What we process
Recruiters and hiring teams
- Your name, email address and profile picture from Google sign-in.
- Permission to create events on your Google Calendar, used only to book in-person interviews and send the invitations.
- The jobs, rubrics and interview questions you create or edit.
Candidates
- Name, phone number, email address and preferred language.
- A CV and its text, when the employer uploads one.
- The interview recording (audio, or audio and video in video mode) and the transcript of what was said.
- The evaluation: a score per job-related criterion with the quotes that support it, behavioral red flags, a recommendation and the rank for the role.
- The interview slot chosen and the booking or email sent afterwards.
People who contact us through this website
- The name, work email, company, and optional phone number and message you send through the demo request form. It reaches our team by email and is not stored in the product database.
Technical data
- Server logs and error reports needed to keep the service running. Phone numbers are masked in them.
Recording, AI evaluation and consent
Every interview opens with this disclosure, in English or Spanish:
This interview is recorded and evaluated with AI to keep it consistent and fair. A human makes the final decision.
On the phone, the interview continues only if the candidate agrees out loud; on the web, only after they click to agree. If a candidate declines, the interview ends.
- The interviewer never asks about protected characteristics such as age, race, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, family status, pregnancy, disability, health or citizenship, and the evaluation never scores them. If a candidate volunteers such information, it is not written to their profile or evaluation.
- A criterion is scored only when a verbatim quote from the candidate supports it, and that quote is checked against the transcript by code. Otherwise the criterion is marked “insufficient evidence”.
- Red flags are limited to job-related behavior, such as availability for the schedule.
Automated recommendations and human decisions
Based on the threshold the employer sets, the system recommends that a candidate advance or be held. For candidates who advance it can book the in-person interview automatically; others receive an email saying their profile will be kept. The system does not make hiring decisions: people at the employer do, and a candidate can ask the employer for a human review.
How we use the data
- To run interviews, evaluate them against the employer's criteria and schedule the next step.
- To send invitations, confirmations and other messages about the application.
- To answer demo requests sent through this website.
- To keep the service secure and working.
We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.
Service providers
We rely on third-party services to run the product, and each receives only the data its part of the service needs: cloud hosting (Amazon Web Services), database (MongoDB Atlas), file storage for CVs and recordings (Cloudflare R2), real-time voice, video and telephony (LiveKit and Twilio), speech recognition (Deepgram), speech synthesis (ElevenLabs), the video avatar (HeyGen), language models (Anthropic and OpenAI), email delivery (Resend), calendar booking (Google) and error monitoring (Sentry).
Security
Traffic to ejob.ai is encrypted in transit over HTTPS. The recruiter dashboard requires sign-in, and CVs and recordings open through short-lived signed links. ejob.ai does not yet hold third-party security certifications.
Retention and your choices
We have not yet set automatic retention periods. Employers can ask us to delete a job and its candidates. Candidates can ask to access, correct or delete their data by contacting us, or the employer that invited them.
